ANTS INVASION

bio ANTS made its debut in 2013 at Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel and soon established itself as one of Ibiza’s most successful events. In addition to taking over Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel every summer, the globally renowned colony also travels the world, marching into many of the world’s leading clubs and festivals, including Brixton Academy (UK), Creamfields (UK), Esos Es Tulum (MX) Freq (US) Printworks (UK) Provocateur (UAE), Tazmania Ballroom (HK) and Tomorrowland (BE). Seamlessly integrating the brand into each environment with themed scenery, high-tech content, special effects and exquisite costumed performers and acrobats, ANTS draws inspiration from ant colony values of social communication, ability to resolve complex problems and carefully selecting where to build a home. With this in mind, only the best electronic music events and festivals are chosen for the brand to collaborate with. Famous for its incredible stage shows and performances based around the more natural-side of the colony, 2019 saw the team raise their game with the incredible ANTS Metropolis show which marked a huge change for the brand. By turning Ushuaïa into a bustling underground city the production was focused more on the colony as a society, hard at work in today’s modern world. 2020 sees the team take this production to even crazier levels by delivering their best concept to date ANTS INVASION. Taking its inspiration from 1960’s science fiction B-movies the concept is focused around a giant kill ant crash landing into their Ibizan nest set to mesmerise and destroy the colony, whilst taking them on a white-knuckle ride of sound and lights. Music-wise ANTS has always focused on the cutting-edge sounds of house and techno led by main headliner Andrea Oliva, alongside influential names like Davide Squillace, Francisco Allendes, Franky Rizardo, Joris Voorn, Kölsch, Matthias Tanzmann, Nic Fanciulli, Steve Lawler, and many more, proving once again the growth of the brand and its infectious sound is captivating the world one party at a time. ANTS has been heralded for its effective communication strategy, marketing, content and branding, creating innovative campaigns and productions that have helped make ANTS one of the most recognisable brands in clubland.
