A remarkable show courtesy of Ushuaïa Ibiza offered to revellers from all over the world and fans of The Prodigy. The first and last show of the band on the shores of the island, in their original lineup. The tragic loss of one of the band´s most iconic members this year, the controversial and memorable Keith Flint, has left a big hole in the hearts of EDM aficionados everywhere. This loss, undoubtedly heavy to all of us supporting The Prodigy, hasn´t deterred the band from continuing their musical and artistic journey in the long run. Having declared their intention to move forward, Keith's absence will be deeply felt, as in addition to his vocal contribution, his charged energy and immense stage presence will be missed on the stages of festivals all over the globe. Keith Flint was chaotic energy in its purest form. 

We honour his memory by keeping close to our hearts the exquisite performance of that day, one that will be recorded in the history of Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel.

When the news hit that The Prodigy would be performing in Ibiza, in the nr.1 open-air club in the world, at Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel, the reaction was understandably charged with excitement. The Prodigy has a long streak of hits and has been one of the most nonconforming and original bands to come out of the 90´s rave scene. Ushuaïa Ibiza´s risk-taking habit of choosing the best, the innovative, the authentic paid off.

The energy near the stage was palpable, and it only got more infectious as the show went on. With a roar of happiness and anticipation, The Prodigy received the welcome they deserved the moment they stepped on the stage.

If you know anything about this iconic band, then you know that their shows are wild. The Prodigy didn´t waste time. With the very first song, “Breathe” the crowd dived head-on in the burst of energy that followed. With each track, a new wave of chaotic energy took over the stage, the crowd and our adrenaline, “Firestarter”, “Voodoo People” and “Omen” pushed the attendants to the limit.

From start to finish, the event maintained its abounding intensity thanks to the audience matching the band´s powerful performance every step of the way. With the pure and potent sounds of the classic EDM track “Smack My Bitch Up”, Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel experienced a surge of energy unlike any other.

The last song of the show elicited the response we expected, where thousands of fans showered the members of the band with the energy and enthusiasm that was built during the whole night. “Out of Space” was the perfect song to end an unforgettable event, with its mixture of intense EDM sounds and reggae.

As the group left the stage the fans applauded, howled enthusiastically as a sign of admiration and gratitude for having attended an impressive event customary to The #1 open-air club.
