After a fantastic summer and completing its second season at the Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel, our favourite electronic music duo continues its unstoppable ascent to the Olympus of Clubbing, spreading its sounds throughout the five continents. Although 2018 has been a year of hard work and full of memorable moments, the Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike World Tour continues to add dates and locations each more spectacular than the next.

On February 9th they attended the exotic SyZyGy in the Philippines, on February 23rd they participated in the EDC in Mexico City and on March 2nd they flew to the VAC Infinity Festival in Wuhan China. A lot of dates lie ahead, they will be the stars of Lollapalooza in Santiago de Chile and Sao Paulo on March 29th and April 7th respectively and will start the summer season on June 8th at Stockholm Summerburst and June 14th at Belsonic in Belfast.

On 18th of June, the Belgian brothers will start their residence in Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel, where they will perform every Tuesday until the 24th of September with Tomorrowland presents Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. In addition to Ushuaïa Ibiza, this summer they will be at the Airbeat One Festival in Neustadt-glewe on 12th of July, the Medusa Sun Beach Festival in Valencia on 11th of August, the Frequency in St. Pölten (Austria) on 17th of August and the Summerburst in Stockholm on 31st of August.

Considered by specialists in the electronic music industry as the theme that elevated the Belgian duo, even though they had earned their stripes long before that, the theme "Wakanda" conquered the hearts of clubbers with its tribal sounds. It marked a before and after in the career of Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, breaking down the door of the music industry in that unforgettable year of 2013. "Wakanda" would have climbed smoothly on its own, but it didn't hurt to get a boost from the megastars Swedish House Mafia, who incorporated this track as a fixture in their sets during their world tour.

One of those undeniable hits that were played on dancefloors the world over, invading radio stations and social media channels alike, that was “Mammoth”. Released on March 4th, 2013 through Spinnin Records and with the collaboration of the German electronic music giant MOGUAI, this generational anthem was immediately praised by many DJ´s of high caliber such as Pete Tong, Tiësto, David Guetta, and Avicii. Without a doubt, this will be one of the essential tracks that will not be missing in the Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike World Tour.

When Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike launched "Tremor" with Martin Garrix, it didn't surprise the electronic music industry too much. First, because they shared a label at the time, Spinnin Records. And secondly, because their musical careers were on the same path and it was inevitable that they would end up collaborating. “Tremor" combines the unmistakable sound of the Belgian duo with Garrix's special ability to find the right tempo for each track.

The theme "The Hum" is inspired by the award-winning film The Wolf of Wall Street, in one of its mythical scenes, when Matthew McConaughey begins to hum a kind of guttural or buzzing sound as he hits his chest. With this premise, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike teamed up with Dutch producer Ummet Ozcan to create a track designed to rule the dancefloor. "The Hum" went viral thanks to their MV, which swept through social media with one of those crazy stories of excesses in which, in addition to the three creators of the track, appeared none other than Charlie Sheen and Jean-Claude Van Damme.

When Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike and Wolfpack released the original track "Ocarina", it immediately became a hit, reaching number one on Beatport. But when they added the beauty and energy of singer Katy B's voice to that electronic base, the song reached another level. The vocal contribution of the British star and a music video whose aesthetics were based on the baroque style of Tomorrowland have made this song a classic that survives today and will surely sound in the Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike World Tour in 2019.
