Hï Ibiza, the World’s Best Club of 2018

The island of Ibiza celebrates yet another year as a leader in the nightlife scene. The International Nightlife Association has recognized Hï Ibiza as the World’s Best Club of 2018 and Ushuaïa Ibiza claims the second place after being number one in the last edition.

Opening its doors in the summer of 2017, Hï Ibiza presented itself to the world as Ibiza’s new nightlife temple, creating high expectations among electronic music fans. However, the world’s most demanding clubbers all knew that Space Ibiza had set the bar very high and any new proposal would have to surpass it in order not to disappoint fans. Yet after just one season, Hï Ibiza was able to prove itself! With over 150 events and 750,000 people attending the nightclub during only its first summer, it was able to make the cut for the World’s Best Clubs list, ranking in as number 15.

By its second season, Hï Ibiza had already become a must for clubbers. Those who cried over the loss of a legend, soon celebrated the reincarnation of one of the most mythic electronic music venues, where even now we can still find all the masterminds of EDM, trance, disco, deep house and techno, such as Armin van Buuren, Eric Prydz, Glitterbox and Black Coffee.

A better design, a better show, better sound, better resident DJs and a myriad of details to place clubbers at the centre of the experience. Innovation, vanguardism and, more than anything, commitment were key factors in the success of Hï Ibiza and its recognition as the World’s Best Club of 2018.

It’s not just music, it’s not just a show. It’s an experience! In each one of its events, Hï Ibiza gives it all. Its two main dance floors, the Theatre and the Club, the three outdoor areas, its exclusive VIP zones and even the bathroom, with its already famous DJ booth, transcend each night, aiming to amaze and leave a unique effect on its most faithful fans.

Ushuaïa Ibiza takes second place

When mentioning the World’s Best Club, it is very unlikely and almost impossible to leave out the events of Ushuaïa Ibiza Beach Hotel, claiming second place in The World’s 100 Best Clubs 2018. Holding its spot in the rankings for years and, although there are other mentionable clubs that come close, such as Omnia Las Vegas, Ushuaïa Ibiza stands its ground against clubbers’ demands and each summer it surpasses its own attendance records, putting up the sold-out sign more than any other club!

Ants, BIG by David Guetta, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike Garden of Madness, Martin Garrix, Kygo, Hardwell… How are they able to have the best resident DJs year after year? According to what they tell us, there is a hidden trick: Ushuaïa Ibiza is the World’s Best Open-Air Club because it brings together the most loyal clubbers, the most professional artists and technical team, along with the most exclusive VIP service, all in the ideal space. All these elements unite to create unique daytime parties, experiences so incredible and unparalleled that they overstep boundaries and continue to make history with no limits.

The World’s 100 Best Clubs

Along with Hï Ibiza and Ushuaïa Ibiza, the White Isle has 11 more venues on The World’s 100 Best Clubs list, such as DC10 Ibiza, Amnesia Ibiza and Pacha Ibiza. In the 2018 edition, a total of 37 countries were placed in the top 100, with Spain holding the greatest number of awarded establishments, up to 22 clubs that display electronic culture in our country and that also show the potential of the Spanish nightlife industry on an international level. Among them Opium Barcelona, Shôko Barcelona, Fabrik Madrid, Olivia Valère, Pacha Barcelona, Sala Apolo, Carpe Diem Lounge Club, Opium Madrid and Biloba.

Palladium Hotel Group’s Director of Institutional Relations, José Luis Benítez, picked up the prize on November 14th in Bogota, where the International Nightlife Congress and the ExpoBar Fair, the most important nightlife event in Colombia, were also celebrated. Experts from around the world came together to speak about the latest nightlife industry trends in the most influential cities around the globe, such as Ibiza, Dubai, New York and Barcelona.
